\u201cVision 2026 is the strategic vision of the Diocese of Blackburn whose goal is:<\/p>\n

\u2018Healthy Churches Transforming Communities\u2019<\/h3>\n

We desire to make the Good News about Jesus Christ more widely known, because we believe:<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He is the One who brings \u2018life in all its fullness\u2019<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Healthy church communities have a positive and transformative impact on our society.<\/p>\n

We will work together to achieve this by:<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Making disciples of Jesus Christ<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Being witnesses to Jesus Christ<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Growing leaders for Jesus Christ<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inspiring children, young people and schools to raise up a new generation for Christ<\/p>\n

The PCC in partnership with a number of working groups is implementing the Diocesan Vision 2026 within the Parish as part of the Priory Strategy and Vision under development.<\/p>\n

The Diocesan Vision Prayer<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Heavenly Father, we embrace Your call for us to make disciples, to be witnesses, to grow leaders and inspire children and young people.\u00a0 Give us eyes to see Your vision, ears to hear the prompting of Your Spirit and courage to follow in the footsteps of your Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Amen<\/p>\n
